The International Wholeness Centre (IWC)
The International Wholeness Centre is an inspiring and welcoming ‘equipping centre’ where people come to be transformed through the Word of God. Located in east London as well as online, the Centre is an important part of the work we do at JPIM to help individuals of all ages continue their journey to wholeness. Ever since our launch in January 2019, the Centre has gone from strength to strength and seen a number of individuals grow and move on in their callings.
What is an ‘equipping centre’?
Whenever our Founder Jacqueline Peart is called on to describe her God-given vision for IWC she tends to liken it to a training kitchen where chefs, waitering and catering staff go to learn their culinary skills. Such a kitchen would be set up with everything you would have in a ‘real’ kitchen, so with all the equipment, utensils, food stock, health and safety measures and dining areas in place. That way these trainees are able to develop their skills in a real professional working environment where they must serve and solve problems for their customers.
The IWC functions in exactly the same way, but to equip pastors, evangelists, apostles, teachers, administrators, worship leaders, prophets, children’s ministry leaders and so forth. Each person is here to grow and be released into the work they are called to do. That means there’s no glitz and it’s not perfect, but, without a doubt, it is life-changing and enhancing!
How does the IWC function?
So, the IWC is called an ‘equipping centre’ because although it functions just like a local assembly it does have some important characteristics that make us different.
- Firstly, the IWC is a place where everyone gets involved. Every team member plays an active role in a different area of the ministry whether that is to lead in prayer, preach, read scripture, teach, lead children’s ministry or something else.
- Secondly, at the IWC we raise leaders to raise leaders. By taking on an active role to run the Centre, every team member grows in their leadership skills and so in turn also becomes equipped to help other leaders to grow.
- Thirdly, we seek to transform generations through mentoring. Our vision is to create a legacy of deep and lasting personal change by investing in the potential of individuals to become who Abba Father has called them to be.
- Finally, from vision to expression, everything we do at the IWC is for the sole reason of releasing the men, women and young people we serve into their God-given purpose and call. We are passionate about our own call to do this.
Departments within IWC
Young Transformers – where even young people are transformed into their calling by learning how to serve and minister to each other.
Community Connection – focuses on helping our members to serve the communities around them, whether geographically, regionally, internationally or virtually.
Prayer – whatever we do at the IWC (and right across JPIM), prayer sits at the centre. This is the department where people learn to intercede for the needs of the ministry and individuals.
Social Media – involves creating and posting content online to help us minister to and reach out to others about the work we do.
Worship – our team of worshippers play an important role in setting the atmosphere for preaching and teaching by taking us into the presence of Abba Father.
Momentum… Men who Lead – our ministry is dedicated to raising up men who will take up their roles as leaders of self, family, church or community.
Pastors and Leaders in Training – this ministry shapes the character of all we do at the IWC as we seek to raise leaders to raise leaders.
Visiting IWC
We warmly welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to come along and join us at any of the following:
- Sunday Gatherings where you can join us for worship and the preaching of the Word of God to equip you in your walk. Our Children’s Department also runs a session for those age 7 and under.
- Midweek Prayer and Study sessions, otherwise known as STRETCH! These sessions will help you to increase your understanding of scripture and its practical application to your life.
IWC Family Sunday
Family Sunday is held on the last Sunday of each month and is a day when we encourage everyone to spend time with their families. It’s a time of connecting and finding out what’s happening with each other. We see this as paramount to the times we live in when people have everything on tap to help them ‘friend’, ‘like’ and ‘connect’ with others and yet can so often can feel alone, depressed or afraid. Sometimes parents have no idea what’s happening with their teenagers and young children and the same could be said for husbands and wives.
At IWC we want to change all of that by encouraging real connection between generations. So, on Family Sunday, some of the things you might do can include:
- Going for a walk and talking through how each other’s week has been.
- Cooking and sitting together for a meal together.
- Using icebreaker games as a way to get to know each other’s dreams, likes and dislikes better.
- Helping each other with hobbies or interests you wouldn’t otherwise show interest in.
- Pray for the needs and concerns of each other.
- Revisit messages from the previous month preached at IWC and share how they have impacted you.
- Watch sound biblical preaching or teaching and discuss what you each understood from them.
Over all, Family Sunday presents you with an opportunity for genuine connection with each other. Whatever you do to spend quality time together we recommend a ‘no phones allowed’ zone for at least 4 hours! If anything, Covid-19 has reminded us that life is not promised to anyone, so spend your time well and value the people God has given you in your family.
Find out what others have to say about why IWC FAMILY SUNDAYS ROCK!
I was invited to attend JPIM’s annual retreat in 2018 by one of the Level 1 members. This was not the first time I had been asked to attend one of their events. However, I was extremely sceptical as I was having a ‘valley experience’ and thought the last thing I needed was yet another happy-clappy church convention where I would feel somewhat uplifted whilst there, but empty as soon as the convention ended and everyone dispersed.

All I can say is… WOW and the biggest Amen, HalleluYah!
What I saw, what I heard, what I found at the Wholeness Retreat was an amazing team of people, led by an awesome woman of God, really doing Kingdom work, so I made IWC my home in 2018.
Yes it’s different, yes it’s tough, yes it’s challenging, as IWC is not a church where you just sit down Sunday after Sunday after Sunday and sneak out of the door before anyone has a chance to talk to you. If you want to be inspired to be the higher you then IWC is the church for you. God wants nothing less for you.

I find it an honour and a privilege to be a member of The International Wholeness Centre (IWC), a caring, loving, supportive, God-orchestrated family.
IWC is an equipping centre, raising leaders to raise leaders, mentoring generations and releasing people into their purpose for the kingdom of God! I am empowered by the training I have received. Through our leader Apostle Jacqueline Peart’s God-inspired teaching and leadership, my life has been transformed through wholeness. I have also come to the understanding that the greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without purpose.
Inspired, motivated, equipped and empowered, I am on my quest to fulfilling God’s purpose for my life!
